Birdeye Data has added global_fees_paid to key Solana token APIs, giving developers access to each token’s all-time global fees paid amount in SOL.
This update also adds fee-based filtering and sorting to token list endpoints, making it easier to discover and rank tokens by fee activity.
The new global_fees_paid field is now available across existing Solana token responses.
Supported endpoints include:
GET /defi/token_overview now returns global_fees_paid for Solana tokens.GET /defi/v3/token/meme/list now includes global_fees_paid, supports min_global_fees_paid, and supports sorting by global_fees_paid.GET /defi/v3/token/meme/detail/single now returns the token’s all-time global fees paid amount in SOL.GET /defi/v3/token/list now includes global_fees_paid, fee-based filtering, and fee-based sorting.GET /defi/v3/token/list/scroll now supports the same global_fees_paid, min_global_fees_paid, and sorting capabilities for scroll-based token discovery. For token discovery, price and volume can change quickly. Fee activity gives builders another way to assess whether a token has generated meaningful usage over time.
With global_fees_paid, developers can add fee-based logic into token scanners, trading terminals, wallet discovery flows, meme token dashboards, and AI agents.
Instead of building custom indexing pipelines to track this metric, teams can query it directly through Birdeye Data’s Solana token APIs.
The global_fees_paid update is live now for Solana token APIs.
