Understanding who holds a token and how supply is distributed across wallets is critical for evaluating token health, decentralization, and risk. As on-chain ecosystems mature, developers and analysts need clearer visibility into holder concentration and distribution dynamics.
To support these use cases, Birdeye Data Services is introducing a new analytics endpoint: Token Holder Distribution.
This API provides a structured breakdown of how a token’s supply is distributed across holders on Solana, enabling developers to build richer analytics for dashboards, token profiles, risk assessment tools, and research platforms.
The Token Holder Distribution endpoint returns aggregated holder distribution statistics based on share of total supply, supporting both percentage-based ranges and top holder views.
For a given token mint address, developers can retrieve:
include_list=trueBy default, results are returned in percent-based distribution mode.
To support token analytics and research workflows, Token Holder Distribution API supports both range-based and top-based holder analysis, with flexible configuration options:
min_percent and max_percent for percentage-based analysistop mode to retrieve distribution data for top holders by share of total supplyinclude_list=true to retrieve wallet addresses for a specified rangeoffset and limit parameters to paginate large holder segments efficientlyThese options allow developers to quickly isolate whale segments, analyze mid-tier holder groups, or inspect long-tail ownership without scanning full holder lists.
The new Token Holder Distribution API adds a supply-level view to Birdeye’s Holder Analytics, complementing existing wallet-focused holder endpoints and enabling analysis beyond individual balances.
With this release, Birdeye’s Holder API suite includes:
Together, these APIs give developers a complete toolkit to analyze holder concentration and supply distribution, from identifying top holders and inspecting specific wallet groups to understanding overall supply structure.
Getting started is straightforward. Send a GET request to the Token Holder Distribution endpoint with a token mint address, and receive a ready-to-use breakdown of holder distribution using either percentage-based ranges or top holder views.
