  • Contextualizing chaos: DeFi data is notoriously fragmented. Bybit Alpha needed to instantly aggregate volume, liquidity depth, and buy/sell ratios into a clean, Spot-like trading interface.
  • Charting the unknown: Rendering highly responsive candlestick charts for assets that have only been trading for minutes or hours.

The Solution: Birdeye’s Early Token Discovery Infrastructure

To bypass the immense technical debt of building custom multi-chain indexers for rapid asset deployment, Bybit Alpha leveraged Birdeye Data’s production-ready endpoints. By utilizing our specialized APIs and WebSockets, Bybit Alpha successfully bridged the gap between CeFi execution and DeFi data intelligence.

1. Ultra-Low Latency Pricing via WebSockets

Bybit Alpha implemented Birdeye’s SUBSCRIBE_PRICE (OHLCV) WebSocket to stream real-time price updates directly to the trading interface. To transform chaotic onchain data into a clear, Spot-like experience, Bybit Alpha utilized the Token – Overview (/defi/token_overview) endpoint. The moment a new token or Alpha Farm liquidity pool goes live, this API delivers aggregated data, including current price, 24-hour volume, liquidity depth, market cap, and buy/sell ratios, allowing Bybit to instantly populate its advanced analytics dashboards.

3. Production-Ready T+0 Candlestick Charting

Visualizing early price action helps users evaluate newly listed assets.. By integrating the OHLCV V3 (/defi/v3/ohlcv) endpoint, Bybit Alpha renders seamless, interactive charts for emerging tokens the moment they launch. Optimized specifically for production scaling, this endpoint delivers precise historical and real-time data without UI lag.

4. Deep Holder Analytics and Risk Indicators

Because Bybit Alpha emphasizes smart screening and strong risk indicators, visibility into tokenomics is non-negotiable. By integrating the Token – Holder (/defi/v3/token/holder) API, Bybit Alpha surfaces top holders and ownership concentration metrics directly to the trader. This empowers retail and institutional users to detect smart money movements and assess the risk profile of new assets immediately.

5. Frictionless Ecosystem Discovery

To manage the influx of emerging assets and RWAs, Bybit Alpha relied on the Token – List (V1) (/defi/tokenlist) API. This powers the platform’s smart screening and search functions, allowing users to effortlessly filter and browse the selected onchain tokens using available market and token data without leaving their UTA.

The Outcome: Scaling Access to Onchain Alpha
